NEW YORK, Aug. 5 -- Victor Records announces the release
of Mandi Perkins' major pronounce debut CD "Alice In No Man's Land" on Tuesday
August fifth. The album was produced by Warren Huart (Augustana, The Fray,
Howie Day) and mixed by Michael Brauer (Coldplay, KT Tunstall, John Mayer,
My Morning Jacket). Ryan Tedder of One Republic co-wrote a number of songs
on the album including the single "Why Pretend."

Mandi Perkins has gained many fans via Myspace.com. Even before she was
signed to Sony BMG, her music was used in episodes of MTV's "Laguna Beach,"
"The Hills" and "The Real World." Soon after, Jeff Rosen, Bob Dylan's
longtime head of publishing, world Health Organization was drawn in by Mandi's song lyrics and
charismatic personality, introduced her to executives at Sony BMG and
subsequently helped her make a record deal through Fred Ehrlich's label
venture with Sony BMG's Victor Records.

Named "The following Alanis..." by Cosmogirl.com, Mandi Perkins is an
intensely passionate and charismatic singer/songwriter who creates
uncompromising melodious rock. She writes roughly her life and those around her
in a musical bod of empathy, which makes listeners, aid, think and
question.

Born and elevated in Toronto, Canada, Mandi began writing and performing
when she was very young and her childhood included musical theatre, vocal
competitions and writing every chance she could. Her ambitions divine a
